Medical Acupuncture

AIM is Cincinnati’s leading physician-led acupuncture practice. We have the largest staff of doctor-led medical acupuncturists in Cincinnati, and all were trained by the renowned Helms Medical Institute through UCLA and Stanford University.

Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT)

AAT offers a unique, noninvasive, and highly effective approach to treating the many symptoms associated with environmental and food allergies and sensitivities. AAT is a precision-based therapy that treats the organ systems involved in your body’s overreaction.

Chiropractic

Chiropractic care is an essential component of the integrative medical approach we take at AIM. Chiropractic is a natural form of health care that uses gentle and careful adjustments of your joints and spine to correct misalignments and restore proper nerve function, helping your body to heal naturally.

Chiropractic Rehabilitation

Chiropractic Rehabilitation is a combination of skillful chiropractic therapy with customized exercises and individualized coaching. In this program you will receive one-on-one care directed by Caylin Holmes, DC, DACRB, who has earned the highest level of certification offered by the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique usually performed by a chiropractor or licensed massage therapist. Through a light holding of the skull and sacrum and barely detectable movements, this technique is thought to affect the pressure and circulation of cerebrospinal fluid, the fluid that surrounds and cushions the brain and spinal cord as well as the attached bones, including the cranium and down the spine to the tailbone.

Energy Healing

Energy healing is one of the oldest forms of healing in the world. At AIM, we have combined several different types of energy work, including therapeutic touch, healing touch, and the Japanese art of Reiki. During an energy healing treatment, the therapist assesses the body’s energy field and attempts to correct any imbalances detected by placing his/her hands on the patient.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM)

FSM is a system of treatment using micro amperage current and the resonance effects of frequencies on tissues and conditions to create beneficial changes in symptoms and health.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

A platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection is an orthopedic therapy that uses a patient’s platelets to accelerate the healing of damaged joints, ligaments, tendons, or muscles. This injection is commonly provided with ultrasound guidance.

Rolfing

Rolfing is a holistic system of soft tissue manipulation and movement education, organizing the whole body in gravity. Rolfing seeks to integrate alignment of the entire body, so movement is grounded in a responsive core, rather than anchored and restricted in an uneasy shell.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy is also known as Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) or Radial Shockwave Therapy (RSWT). Shockwave therapy is a noninvasive treatment that involves delivery of shock waves to injured soft tissue to reduce pain and promote healing.
